W**e & Dine race weekend is upon us! 🏃‍♂️🍷🏅

Oct 22–25 at Walt Disney World, is the Disney W**e & Dine Half Marathon Weekend — 5K (Aristocats), 10K (Tres Caballeros), half marathon (Mary Poppins), and the Two Course Challenge (Snow White). Nighttime miles, character stops, and a finish line at EPCOT during the Food & W**e Festival. It does not get better than that.

We don’t just plan race weekends — we’ve lived them. Adventure Advisors Eric, Tim & Jen have completing numerous race weekends and even the D***y Challenge! Resort near the start line, rest-day strategy, spectator plan, and that celebration dinner after: that’s a race-cation done right.

We're so excited — another family is ringing in the New Year at Walt Disney World, and they'll be staying in a Cars Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! 🚗💨

Larger-than-life Radiator Springs theming, room for the whole family to spread out, Skyliner access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, and fireworks to close out the year — that's a New Year's celebration done right.

It all started on this day — October 16, 1923.

Walt Disney arrived in Hollywood after his Kansas City studio failed, bringing a little film called Alice's Wonderland. In his uncle Robert's Hollywood home at 4406 Kingswell Ave., Walt signed a four-page contract with distributor M.J. Winkler to make the Alice Comedies — and he and his brother Roy O. Disney founded the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio.

From there: Mickey Mouse (1928), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Disneyland (1955), and Walt Disney World (1971). ✨🏰
