What is a favorite hobby or interest you have? Do you take it with when you travel?

I love puzzles, card games, board games, word searches - anything to challenge my mind a bit. Yes, I have a deck of waterproof cards for poolside days! 🃏

Maybe it's:
- reading that you take with in a kindle or a paper copy
- Crosswords / word games - you bring a digital version on your phone / tablet
- card games that are compact and easy to throw in a backpack
- completely unplugged - no digital versions go along, maybe not even a physical copy, just enjoy your time away

Being self-employed means I'm the CEO, CFO, HR department, marketing team, and the person who has to refill the printer paper. 📎

Perks of working for myself:
✅ Amazing boss (very understanding, gives herself great reviews)
✅ Flexible dress code (leggings are technically business casual)
✅ I approve my own PTO requests... but first make sure my animals will be taken care of!
✅ Every meeting could have been an email, and I'm the one who scheduled it

The best part? Every decision is mine. Which means every mistake is too, but let's focus on the wins. Like booking dream vacations for amazing clients. ✈️🌴

So here's to everyone who took the leap, built something from scratch, and still answers their own phone at 9 p.m. (well, during business hours, of course 😉).

Have you ever looked at a trip and immediately thought, “That’s probably out of my budget”?

You might be surprised.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned after planning trips for 5+ years is that travelers often have a number in their head for what a destination must cost — without knowing what different travel dates, resorts, room categories, flights or packages can do to the price.

Sometimes moving the dates a few days, choosing a different room category or looking at another resort can completely change what’s possible.

That doesn’t mean every trip fits every budget. But before you cross a destination off your list, find out what it actually costs.

You may be a lot closer to that bucket-list trip than you think. ✈️
