To celebrate 2 years as a bakery I’m doing my first ever giveaway! This is NOT just for locals so keep reading.

Here’s how it works:

Wanted to update on why I haven’t been offering The Giving Loaf and thought it would be nice to verbally explain versus just a text caption.

The short version is just that I got a burnt out. I was already maxed out in production and because you all were SO generous, I felt I couldn’t keep up with the giving demand.

That sounds terrible.. I had to stop donating because of my limitations. 😞 But, I’m only one person, this kind of bread is labor intensive and my schedule to bake is limited each week.

My heart wants to do so much more than I physically and mentally am capable of. It has been a hard year+ for our family and I had to go into hustle mode for a while to help keep us afloat. I never want to be so inward focused that I can’t be helpful to those around me, but for a time, that’s how it’s seemed. However, I will definitely offer it again this Fall. ❤️

Ordering is open for the week! It’s a smaller menu as I am feeling a bit maxed and need to reduce my offerings a bit.

Next week will be a normal week but August 28th and September 4th there will be no pickups. When school starts I have to take some time off to get us back into a good routine and figure out how my bakery hours will fit within it. 😊

Menu is up!

English muffins are made with 20% local stone ground spelt, organic milk, grass fed butter and sweetened lightly with coconut sugar.

Brown butter cookies - original that is sweetened with only coconut sugar and the new version that has freshly milled einkorn flour and espresso powder.

All breads are made with organic flours, including lots of local and freshly milled stone milled flours.

Everything has a ferment time, even the cookies. Breads and muffins are long fermented with a cold proof. The way bread should be made!

Menu is up for the week! Country white, Miller’s wheat, Sesame spelt, Choc chip and Cinnamon raisin! Lots of English muffins and brown butter sourdough cookies also available. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Ordering opens at 10am today! Country white, Sesame spelt, Seeded rye, Miller’s wheat, Chocolate Chip, English muffins, Brown butter cookies (regular and einkorn).

There will be NO ordering or pickup the following week for 7/24. Bread freezes great so you can stock up if needed!

Ordering for this week opens at 10am. Usual breads plus einkorn cookies are back. This week and next week are normal pickups - there will be NO pickup on 7/24 so plan accordingly! If you don’t want to be without for a week, order double the week prior. Let the bread sit in the bag for a day or 2 then slice and freeze. Muffins freeze great as is or, personally, I prefer to open them first and then freeze. 🥖🍪

Ordering is open for the week! I still have to add the new cookie onto the menu. I want to give the option of being able to order a mix of cookies but won’t be able to do that quite yet. Eventually. 😊
