Miles of Legacy: 36 Years of Red Mountain

Thirty-six years ago, David and Mitzi Richards started Red Mountain Truck Lines with a vision, a lot of hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Together, they built more than a trucking company… They built a family business rooted in integrity, reliability, and dedication. Through long days, challenges, and countless miles on the road, they laid the foundation for what Red Mountain has become today.

Their son, Justin Richards, grew up watching that vision come to life. From spending time around the trucks to learning the business firsthand, he developed a deep appreciation for the work that built our company.

Today, Justin and Kayce are proud to carry forward the legacy David and Mitzi began, leading the company with the same principles that have guided it for more than three decades.

And our story continues.

Just as Justin grew up around the business, their children are now growing up around the shops and people who make Red Mountain what it is, learning firsthand what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

What began with Dave and Mitzi 36 years ago has become a legacy spanning generations, built by family and strengthened by the incredible employees, customers, and partners who have been part of the journey along the way.

As we close out our anniversary month, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped make Red Mountain Truck Lines what it is today.

For 36 years, Red Mountain Truck Lines has been built on hard work, strong relationships, and the people who keep things moving every day.

One of those people is Mitzi Richards.

Since the very beginning, Mitzi has been a constant presence at Red Mountain, helping navigate the ups and downs of running a trucking company while also supporting her family at home. As a wife, mother, and an integral part of the business, she balanced countless responsibilities, helping shape Red Mountain Truck Lines into what it is today.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we reflect on how grateful we are for all that Mitzi has contributed over the past 3+ decades.

Her passion and commitment are part of the foundation our family business was built on, and part of the legacy that continues to move us forward today.
