Το Λιμάνι του Πειραιά είναι το λιμάνι 3 ηπείρων. Στρατηγικά τοποθετημένο στο σταυροδρόμι της Ευρώπης, της Ασίας και της Αφρικής, αποτελεί τον μεγαλύτερο τερματικό σταθμό εμπορευματοκιβωτίων στη Μεσόγειο κι έναν από τους πέντε κορυφαίους στην Ευρώπη. Η ανάπτυξη ενός σύγχρονου λιμανιού συνδέεται άμεσα με την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος και την ενίσχυση της ανθεκτικότητάς του. 🌱⚓

Ο ΟΛΠ συμμετείχε στο Circular Gaia Symposium 2026, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Αθήνα και το Κάιρο, με επίκεντρο την κυκλική οικονομία και τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη.

Εκπροσωπώντας τον ΟΛΠ, ο κ. Νεκτάριος Δεμενόπουλος, Manager of Public Relations, Corporate Culture & Investors Relations, συμμετείχε στο πάνελ «Green Infrastructure and Climate Resilience», αναδεικνύοντας τη σημασία της ισορροπίας μεταξύ λιμενικής ανάπτυξης, περιβαλλοντικής προστασίας και ευημερίας των τοπικών κοινωνιών.

Στο πλαίσιο της διοργάνωσης, ο ΟΛΠ τιμήθηκε επίσης από το Circular Economy, Environment, Energy & Climate Institute του EPLO, για τις επιδόσεις του στη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη και τις περιβαλλοντικές του πρωτοβουλίες.

Representing PPA, Mr. Nektarios Demenopoulos, Manager of Public Relations, Corporate Culture & Investors Relations, joined the panel discussion “Green Infrastructure and Climate Resilience”, highlighting the importance of balancing port development with environmental protection and the well-being of local communities.

During the event, PPA was also honored by the Circular Economy, Environment, Energy & Climate Institute of EPLO, in recognition of its sustainability performance and environmental initiatives.

Μέχρι τις 30 Οκτωβρίου, οι ενδιαφερόμενοι μπορούν να υποβάλουν την αίτησή τους για μία από τις 10 υποτροφίες Kunpeng Scholarships, που προσφέρει ο ΟΛΠ για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά. 🎓

Το πρόγραμμα απευθύνεται σε πρωτοετείς φοιτητές που πληρούν τις προϋποθέσεις συμμετοχής και είναι δημότες Πειραιά, Περάματος, Κερατσινίου–Δραπετσώνας ή Σαλαμίνας, με διευρυμένα εισοδηματικά κριτήρια για τη φετινή χρονιά.

Until October 30, eligible applicants can apply for one of the 10 scholarships Kunpeng Scholarships, offered by PPA for the second consecutive year. 🎓

The program supports first-year university students who meet the eligibility requirements and are registered citizens of Piraeus, Perama, Keratsini-Drapetsona or Salamina, with expanded income eligibility criteria for this year.

Από την Άπω Ανατολή στη Μεσόγειο, το Viking Yidun έφτασε στο Λιμάνι του Πειραιά, στο πλαίσιο του τρίμηνου προγράμματός του στην Ευρώπη. ⚓🌍

Με αφορμή την άφιξή του, πραγματοποιήθηκε η καθιερωμένη τελετή ανταλλαγής πλακέτας μεταξύ της κα. Πατρίτσιας Ζήγου, Cruise & Ferry Terminal Manager του ΟΛΠ, και του Πλοιάρχου του κρουαζιερόπλοιου. Επίσης διανεμήθηκαν αναμνηστικά δώρα σε επιβάτες του πλοίου.

Το Viking Yidun, με τη χαρακτηριστική σκανδιναβική αισθητική και τη δυνατότητα φιλοξενίας 930 επιβατών, πραγματοποιεί συνολικά 4 προγραμματισμένες αφίξεις στον Πειραιά το 2026, ενώ για το 2027 έχουν ήδη προγραμματιστεί 12 ακόμη.

From the Far East to the Mediterranean, Viking Yidun arrived at the Port of Piraeus as part of its three-month European deployment. ⚓🌍

To mark the occasion, a traditional plaque exchange ceremony took place between Ms. Patricia Zigou, PPA Cruise & Ferry Terminal Manager, and the ship's Captain. Souvenir gifts were also distributed to passengers on the ship.

Featuring distinctive Scandinavian design and accommodating up to 930 guests, Viking Yidun is scheduled to make 4 calls at the Port of Piraeus in 2026, with another 12 calls already planned for 2027.

Ο ΟΛΠ υποδέχθηκε αντιπροσωπεία στελεχών από τους κλάδους των λιμένων, της ναυτιλίας, των logistics και συναφών δραστηριοτήτων στην Κίνα, στο πλαίσιο του Third Advanced Training Program for Innovative Management of High-Level Port and Shipping Professionals, που διοργανώθηκε από το Shanghai Maritime University. 🌍

Την επίσκεψη υποδέχθηκε και φιλοξένησε ο Deputy CEO του ΟΛΠ, Captain QU Shengbin, δίνοντας στους συμμετέχοντες την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν από κοντά τη λειτουργία και τις πρακτικές διαχείρισης του Λιμένα Πειραιά.

The exchange of knowledge and experience plays an important role in the development of the global port and shipping sector. ⚓

PPA welcomed delegation of managers from China’s port, shipping, logistics and related industries as part of the Third Advanced Training Program for Innovative Management of High-Level Port and Shipping Professionals, organized by Shanghai Maritime University. 🌍

The visit was welcomed and hosted by PPA Deputy CEO, Captain QU Shengbin, offering participants the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the operations and management practices of the Port of Piraeus.

Μια ιστορία αιώνων ζωντάνεψε ξανά στα νερά της Σαλαμίνας. 🌊

Ο ΟΛΠ συμμετείχε ως χορηγός στα Σαλαμίνια 2026, στο πλαίσιο των εκδηλώσεων που τιμούν την ιστορική Ναυμαχία της Σαλαμίνας και τη διαχρονική της παρακαταθήκη.

Η Αναπαράσταση της Ναυμαχίας παρουσιάστηκε μέσα από ένα σύγχρονο οπτικοακουστικό θέαμα, με μεγάλη οθόνη, διαδραστικά στοιχεία και σκηνική δράση, ενώ η παρουσία της τριήρους «ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΣ» και η αφήγηση του Γιώργου Γεροντιδάκη μετέφεραν το κοινό στην εποχή της ιστορικής Ναυμαχίας.

Η βραδιά ολοκληρώθηκε με το πρώτο drone show των Σαλαμινίων, φωτίζοντας τον ουρανό πάνω από την ιστορική ακτή και δίνοντας στη διοργάνωση μια εντυπωσιακή σύγχρονη διάσταση.

A story spanning centuries came to life once again in the waters of Salamina. 🌊

PPA participated as sponsor in Salaminia 2026, as part of the events honoring the historic Battle of Salamis and its enduring legacy.

The reenactment of the Battle was brought to life through a contemporary audiovisual experience featuring a large screen, interactive elements and live stage action. Together with the presence of the Hellenic Navy trireme “OLYMPIAS” and the narration of Giorgos Gerontidakis, the experience transported the audience back to the time of the historic Battle.

The evening culminated with the first-ever Salaminia drone show, illuminating the sky above the historic coastline and adding an impressive contemporary dimension to the event.

Στο 9ο Συνέδριο Υποδομών και Μεταφορών ITC 2026, ο ΟΛΠ τιμήθηκε με το Ειδικό Βραβείο για τα 10 χρόνια της COSCO SHIPPING στην ΟΛΠ Α.Ε.το οποίο παρέλαβε ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος του ΟΛΠ, κ. SU Xudong.

Η διάκριση έρχεται σε μια χρονιά-ορόσημο για το Λιμάνι του Πειραιά, καθώς συμπληρώνονται 10 χρόνια από τη στρατηγική επένδυση της COSCO SHIPPING και μια περίοδος σημαντικής ανάπτυξης και μετασχηματισμού του λιμανιού. ⚓

At the 9th Infrastructure and Transport Conference ITC 2026, PPA was honored with the Special Award marking 10 Years since COSCO SHIPPING joined PPA, received by PPA CEO, Mr. SU Xudong.

Για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά, ο ΟΛΠ υλοποιεί το Πρόγραμμα Υποτροφιών Kunpeng Scholarship, στηρίζοντας νέους ανθρώπους στο ξεκίνημα της ακαδημαϊκής τους πορείας. 🎓

Για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2026-2027, το πρόγραμμα επιστρέφει με διευρυμένα εισοδηματικά κριτήρια, δίνοντας τη δυνατότητα σε περισσότερους νέους από την ευρύτερη περιοχή του Πειραιά να υποβάλουν αίτηση.

Συνολικά, θα απονεμηθούν 10 υποτροφίες ύψους €3.000 η καθεμία σε πρωτοετείς φοιτητές που πληρούν τις προϋποθέσεις συμμετοχής.

Το Douglas Mawson έφτασε στο Λιμάνι του Πειραιά, με πέντε homeport calls προγραμματισμένα μέσα στο 2026. ⚓

Με αφορμή την πρώτη άφιξη του πλοίου στο λιμάνι, πραγματοποιήθηκε επί του πλοίου η καθιερωμένη τελετή ανταλλαγής πλακέτας μεταξύ του Πλοιάρχου και εκπροσώπων του ΟΛΠ, τον οποίο εκπροσώπησε η κα Σταματία Τζεβελέκου, Deputy Manager του Τμήματος Cruise & Ferry Terminal.

Το σύγχρονο expedition cruise ship της Aurora Expeditions, που πήρε το όνομά του από τον θρυλικό Αυστραλό εξερευνητή Sir Douglas Mawson, συνδυάζει καινοτόμο σχεδιασμό, χαρακτηριστικά βιωσιμότητας και υψηλό επίπεδο άνεσης.

Douglas Mawson has arrived at the Port of Piraeus, with five homeport calls scheduled throughout 2026. ⚓

To mark the ship’s inaugural call, a traditional plaque exchange ceremony took place on board between the Captain and representatives of PPA, which was represented by Mrs. Stamatia Tzevelekou, Deputy Manager of the Cruise & Ferry Terminal Department.

Operated by Aurora Expeditions, the modern expedition cruise ship is named after legendary Australian explorer Sir Douglas Mawson and combines innovative design, sustainability features and a high level of passenger comfort.
