⚓ In 1788, Kingston became one of Australia’s first British convict settlements.
⚓ Nearby Slaughter Bay sits beside the reef where the HMS Sirius was wrecked in 1790.

Today, what remains is something rare—quiet waters, soft waves, and a landscape where history meets pure natural stillness.

🌿 Norfolk Island – The Art of Slow Travel

This is one of my earlier travel videos, filmed several years ago, yet the island's appeal remains timeless. With dramatic coastal scenery, fascinating history, friendly locals, and a relaxed way of life, Norfolk Island offers travellers the opportunity to slow down and truly connect with a destination.

From its convict heritage and unique culture to scenic walking trails and breathtaking ocean views, Norfolk Island is a place where the journey is just as rewarding as the destination.

Historical Trivia: Norfolk Island was first settled by the British in 1788, the same year as Sydney. Today, many island residents trace their ancestry to the HMS Bounty mutineers and their Tahitian companions who later settled on nearby Pitcairn Island before relocating to Norfolk Island.

Some travel memories never fade, and Norfolk Island remains one of the South Pacific's most unique and rewarding destinations.
