Meet Julian, Swift’s Workshop Manager. 🔧🚛

Behind every truck that heads out on the road is a team making sure it is ready for the journey.
Julian oversees the checks, maintenance and repairs that help keep Swift’s fleet safe, reliable and road-ready.

It is careful, consistent work that happens long before a truck leaves the depot. Leave a ‘💪🏼’ for Julian in the comments!

We get these questions a lot, so here’s a quick answer.

“Do you offer driver training?” 🚛

Our Driver Training School is an in-house programme for existing Swift drivers, so it isn’t currently available as a public driver-training service. 💙

“How do I become a Swift driver?”

Keep an eye on the careers section at swift.co.zw for available opportunities and application information. 💻

Meet Dale Edwards. 👋🔧

Dale is an apprentice in our engineering department, learning from experienced artisans and helping with the trip checks that happen before our vehicles head back onto the road. 🚛

When we say vehicles, we mean everything from bikes to large tautliner trucks. Those checks might happen behind the scenes, but they play a big part in helping us get what matters safely from A to B.

Press play and let Dale tell you more. 🎥💙

A truck can only do its job as well as the person behind the wheel. 🚛

That’s why driver development at Swift doesn’t stop once someone knows how to drive.

Through our internal driver training programme, Swift drivers receive ongoing training to strengthen their skills, road awareness and operating standards. 💙

This training is provided exclusively to Swift drivers as part of our internal operations and is not open to the public or offered as an external service.

Moving what matters starts with people who are continuously equipped to do it well. ✅

Not every delivery needs a giant box. 📦

Sometimes what you’re sending is smaller, lighter and much easier to pack. That’s where our Swift Action Packs come in.

They’re a practical option for smaller items and documents that need to get from here to there. ✉️

Pack it. Label it. Send it. 🚛|

Not sure which packaging option you need? Ask our team and we’ll point you in the right direction. 💙
