⚠️TRAVEL UPDATE: Domestic Flight Check-in

The Airports Company of Zimbabwe (Private) Limited (ACZ) wishes to advises all passengers travelling on domestic flights departing from Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport (Harare) that, effective Monday 12 October 2026, check-in will take place at the Domestic Departures Terminal following the terminal’s full operationalisation.

Check-in times and flight schedules remain unchanged.

Airports Company of Zimbabwe Private Limited participated in the Tactical-Level Decision-Makers Training on National Nuclear Security from 5-9 October 2026 in Mutare.

The training culminated in a practical radioactive emergency response drill at Grand Reef Airport, designed to test preparedness, assess equipment and response systems, identify gaps in emergency plans, build confidence, reduce panic and confusion, and strengthen inter-agency coordination in managing potential radiological emergencies.

Led by the Zimbabwe Defense Forces, the exercise was officiated by the Commander of the Air Force of Zimbabwe, Air Marshal John Jacob Nzvede. Among participants were key stakeholders from various ministries, departments and agencies

ACZ remains committed to strengthening airport emergency preparedness, enhancing national security and fostering effective multi-agency collaboration to safeguard lives and critical aviation infrastructure.

​Because it is situated at a pre-security point, it is accessible to both travellers and members of the public, including those dropping off or meeting passengers.

September was an eventful and impactful month for the Airports Company of Zimbabwe Private Limited (ACZ), characterised by achievements in infrastructure development, corporate visibility, stakeholder engagement and community development.

From the upgrading of Masvingo Airport Terminal and scooping exhibition awards at Sanganai/Hlanganani 2026, to supporting impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, ACZ continued to advance its mandate while creating meaningful value for the communities and stakeholders we serve.

During the month, ACZ supported Girls in Aviation in Mutare and was delighted to participate in the Dzikwa Trust career guidance programme, engaging with and inspiring young people to explore opportunities in aviation and related fields.
