Dear Parent/Guardian
Our story
Yesterday I was on a road called Marlborough Drive at about 7.50am heading towards Engen Service Station on Lomagundi Road where I witnessed an accident where a Marlborough High school student going to school on foot was hit by a black Toyota Allex. The young driver (age below 30yrs) was speeding on a stretch ordinarily limited to 60km/h. The young student sustained serious injury. When I attended the scene I took time to isolate myself , wept and prayed for the life of the young boy. My heart still bleeds. The family of the young student is grieving coz of the careless driving. Such is our roads everyday.
Our appeal
We should not find it in order for us and our loved ones to go about the day without a morning and evening prayer for God's protection. Please note that accidents will keep happening but with prayer we find favour with God.
Action point
Consider assisting our learners to school, whether on own car, school run providers or otherwise. However for school run providers this is a guide to choosing one;
(1) Does the driver have a defensive driver's license?
(2) Is the driver medically fit (mental stability)
(3) Driver maturity
(4) Passenger liability insurance on the vehicle
Our motivation
Kindly consider the above, reflect and give us a chance to provide school run services. Our 18 seater vehicle still has available space for the Westgate to Belvedere route. For us we are not only motivating for school run. We have a ministry to point your learners to God during the short drive from home to school and back. This route is serviced by a Pastor as its driver. We love money as it oils life but for us a relationship with the learner, parent/guardian comes first. We love you and yes we are sincere about it.
