If you’re driving a small private car into Zimbabwe via Beitbridge, this is the general process and costs to expect. Sharing this to help travellers prepare and avoid unnecessary delays.
🔹 Border Process (in order)
1.On entry, collect a Zimborders “NOT PAID” ticket
2.Take the ticket to CID / Interpol for vehicle scan and approval
3.Proceed to Zimborders to make payment
4.Go to Immigration for passport stamping
5.Proceed to ZIMRA with your reference number
If you don’t have one, it’s best to apply at least 48hrs before you travel. Apply online by clicking the link https://tally.so/r/zxDZkq
After ZIMRA, go to ZINARA
6.Final scan at the ZIMRA office outside the main building, then exit the border
