The National Railways of Zimbabwe, today donated 20 mattresses, 20 blankets and 20 pairs of bedding sheets to Ingutsheni Hospital’s Drug Rehabilitation Centre.

Acting CEO Mrs Ainah Dube-Kaguru said the donation will improve patient comfort and support quality rehabilitation care for those recovering from drug abuse.

The National Railways of Zimbabwe today joined the rest of the country in participating in the national clean up campaign, held every first Friday of the month.
Today’s event was extra special in that it coincided with the World Environment Day, commemorated annually on June 5.

A clean Zimbabwe is what we all deserve.

🔴Nine suspected illegal gold miners were arrested during a recent joint operation involving NRZ Loss Control and Security, ZRP and Jumbo Mine Security at Jumbo Siding in Mazowe.
Equipment comprising seven generators, a compressor, horse pipe, ropes and electrical cables were recovered.
The suspects were handed over the CID Minerals Flora and Fauna Unit (MFFU). They have since appeared in court and were released out of custody pending further investigations. The NRZ urges people and companies undertaking mining activities to do so outside the railway reserve land to protect the integrity of railway infrastructure.
