*VORNA, NDEKE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION*

*NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING*
Dear Fellow Homeowners.
This is to notify you that in accordance with Article 9.0. of the Association’s Constitution, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Vorna-Ndeke Homeowners Association shall be held on *Sunday, 31 May 2026,* at *Police grounds in Phase 1 starting at 14:00hrs.*
Please note that with the 3-year mandate of the current executive coming to an end, elections will also be held to usher in a new team.
*AGENDA:*
1. Receive and confirm the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.
2. Receive from the Chairman, a report of the period under review.
3. Receive from the Treasurer, a Financial Statement of Accounts for the period under review.
4. Effect an amendment to the Constitution to provide a provision for sectional or area representation on the committee from each of the zones, i.e., Vorna Valley, Meanwood-Ndeke, and Sitatunga.
5. Effect an amendment to Article 4.2 of the Constitution to increase the number of Executive Committee members from the current ten (10) to sixteen (16) to provide for the creation of six (6) additional positions as follows:-
(i) Committee Member for Security and Safety responsible for coordinating the operations of Neighbourhood Watch Team _*(candidates should have police/ military background);*_
(ii) Vice Committee Member for Security and Safety *_(candidates should have police/ military background);_*
(iii) Vice Committee Member for Infrastructure Development and Maintenance;
(iv) Vice Committee Member for Health;
(v) Vice Committee Member for Social Amenities, Education and Youth Empowerment; and
(vi) Vice Committee Member for Estates.
6. Introduce a clause in the constitution to empower the chairman to automatically expel a committee member who fails to attend three (3) consecutive executive committee meetings.
7. Introduce a clause in the constitution to empower the chairman, acting in consultation with the committee, to appoint a new member to replace a member expelled under Article .... at 6 above.
8. Decide on any resolution or notice which has been given to the secretary.
9. Conduct elections of a new Executive Committee.
Homeowners wishing to stand for any of the positions are encouraged to submit their names to the Electoral Commission.
