1,163 reasons to feel rather good about flying. ✈️🌿

Sky Trails Ltd retired 1,163 Verified Carbon Units through Verra, supporting the Luangwa Community Forests Project right here in Zambia.

In less aviation-heavy language? That represents 1,163 tonnes of carbon emissions offset through verified carbon credits with each retired unit permanently taken out of circulation so it cannot be claimed again.

Because flying over Zambia is a privilege. Taking responsibility for our impact below it is part of the journey.

In 2020, Sky Trails Zambia became one of Africa’s first carbon-neutral airlines.

Through our partnership with BioCarbon Partners, in collaboration with the Zambian Government, we offset the measurable emissions from our entire fleet and business operations using Verified Carbon Units.

Not to brag… but if you’re going to make an impact, it’s rather nice when the footprint is smaller than the aircraft in this photo. 🌿
