Karen, vandag wil ons jou vereer vir jou jarelange diens, onwrikbare toewyding en harde werk op die komitee.
Jy is die persoon wat altyd seker maak ons kampbesprekings is betyds gedoen, dat ons die beste staanplekke kry, die regte tariewe betaal en dat alles agter die skerms glad verloop. Baie van die werk wat jy doen, sien mense nooit, maar elke lid van die klub geniet die voordele daarvan.
Jy het oor die jare sterk verhoudings met die vakansieoorde opgebou. Oral waar ons kom, ken hulle vir Karen van der Merwe – en dit is 'n bewys van jou professionaliteit, integriteit en die respek wat jy afdwing.
Jy is 'n tawwe koekie wat nie maklik tou opgooi nie. Wanneer daar 'n probleem is, pak jy dit aan totdat dit opgelos is. Jou deursettingsvermoë, lojaliteit en passie vir die klub is iets waarna ons almal kan opkyk.
Karen, baie dankie vir alles wat jy oor die jare vir die klub gedoen het. Jou bydrae het 'n blywende verskil gemaak en ons waardeer jou opreg.

Fifty years of membership is not only an amazing achievement, but also a true testament to your commitment, dedication, and love for camping and our club.
If anyone wants to know anything about the club's history, Andy is the person to ask. His meticulous documentation and preservation of the club's history over the years is truly remarkable and something we all appreciate.
Congratulations to you both, and here's to many more years of camping, friendship, and making memories together. You are true legends, and we are honoured to have you as part of our camping family. 🏕️🥂👏

Only 7 days to go! 🏕️🎉
1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... and then we're off to Pearson Park!
The tents are almost ready, the caravans are waiting, the camp chairs are calling our names, and the fridge is already wondering if it has enough space! 😂
Soon we'll be swapping alarms for birdsong, traffic for campfires, and stress for laughter around the braai. 🔥🍔🍻
Pearson Park, get ready for us... the countdown is officially ON! ⛺🚐😎
