Just in from clients who recently stayed at Sakatia Lodge,and at 293 On Komba:

"We had a wonderful time in Madagascar and everything was great. Thank you for your recommendations and all the transfers were well organised and efficient.

We really enjoyed the snorkelling with the turtles at Sakatia Lodge and there was some good reefs to see as well.

The accommodation was very good at both lodges - comfortable and spacious, but rustic island style that was beautiful and authentic. Sandra was a very good host at Sakatia Lodge - very knowledgeable and friendly and accommodating.

Danielle at 293 on Komba was also very friendly and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. 293 on Komba is beautifully decorated with a fantastic setting.

Remember that incredible competition that Airlink and HOT 102.7 FM ran last year, giving two lucky winners the chance to experience the magic of Madagascar?

One of those winning couples has just returned from an unforgettable week in Nosy Be and we're delighted that they have shared some of their memories with us.

Their adventure included three nights on the breathtaking island of Tsarabanjina, where turquoise waters, white sandy beaches and spectacular sunsets set the scene for a truly special escape. A sunset cruise, courtesy of MadagasCaT, around the island was one of many highlights.

From there, they spent four nights at Tsara Komba Lodge, nestled on the lush slopes of Nosy Komba and overlooking the warm waters of the Mozambique Channel.

During their stay they also joined Angels Tours for a day excursion to the iconic Nosy Iranja, with its famous sandbank, and Nosy Antsoa Lemur Island, where Madagascar's unique wildlife can be experienced up close.

Madagascar has a way of surprising even the most seasoned travellers, and judging by these photos, it certainly worked its magic once again.

🇲🇬 **Why Madagascar is not a destination we recommend planning from Google alone...**

Madagascar is one of the most incredible countries on earth, but it can also be one of the most challenging to navigate without local knowledge.

Over the years we've seen travellers:

❌ Spend more time travelling than sightseeing
❌ Book flights that don't operate on the days they expected
❌ Underestimate road conditions and journey times
❌ Choose accommodation that wasn't quite what it appeared online

Another happy, repeat client!

"Just back from our fifth Madagascar holiday all arranged through Harriet at MadagasCat travel, aqnd yet again a faultless service through recommendation, booking, travel oversight and more.
Another winner. This time a week at Sakatia Villa where hosts Adrian and Griselda and their team combine to present a five star home from home experience. Not to be confused with Sakatia Lodge (although it is right next door) the villas offer a more laid back approach with flexible meal times, an honesty bar with unlimited tea and coffee. Excursions to nearby attractions, personal massages and fishing trips can be easily arranged at extra cost. An extra bonus is airconditioning in the rooms that runs for several hours each night to provide a welcome relief when the weather gets a bit too hot."

Totally off subject but my travel buddy and I had the privilege of spending a long weekend in Madikwe at Tuningi Safari Lodge .
Next level!!!
And we were SO lucky with our sightings thanks to our remarkable guide, Ash.
