Arriving at the Hluhluwe IMfolozi game reserve. Credited with saving the very existence of the Southern White Rhino and still today a strong hold for the species. Still one of the best places to see rhino (up close and relaxed). Check it out…

The start of a very busy period for us. Got a couple of multi day & destination adventure tours running. A few Kruger safaris and awesome day safaris off the ships!

Kicking it off here with these awesome ladies at the start of their 9 day adventure. The amazing Sterkfontein dam which powers a Hydroelectric plant. Then the ever impressive Tugela Gorge hike, a must do if you ever find yourself near the Northern Berg.

Next on to St. Lucia, Hluhluwe and the Kruger…

This is what we love so much about staying inside the actual reserve and not outside. The opportunity for special sightings like this. Sitting, having a wonderful braai, and you hear branches cracking. We get up and shine our light, and there's a massive bull ellie whose decided to join the camp volk for dinner 😆 Special!

Beautiful lion pride on the move.

They had obviously been sleeping in the riverbed all day. Oblivious safari goers driving past all day, thinking to themselves the big cats must be here somewhere!

You can't control the bush, all you can do is use your experience, drive to the right areas and hope the timing is on your side!

Was filming this Green Mamba at Phezulu Safari Park and it immediately took me back to a moment I had a few years ago.

I was on a golf estate, wandering slightly off looking for a lost ball in some thick bush. Completely unaware, I had walked right into the space of a Green Mamba. He had seen me long before I saw him, and it was only when he moved off and rustled the leaves that I even realised he was there.

That’s the thing with these snakes. They are incredibly well camouflaged and spend most of their time in the trees, blending in perfectly with the surrounding foliage. You can be very close and never even know it.

They are highly venomous, with fast-acting neurotoxic venom, but they are not aggressive and will almost always choose to move away rather than confront.

Just a reminder of how aware you need to be in the bush, and how much is going on around you that you don’t always see.

We got this email last night. Always super proud of our wonderful team, who constantly curate and execute once in a lifetime safaris and tours.

We never take it lightly that guests entrust us with their hard-earned cash. So when the feedback is like this, we puff out our chests even a little more...

Vote - Yes or no?

Right at the start, when we were just getting going, we asked our guests at the end of each safari to say a few words, describing their experience. After a little while, we had enough footage to put this mash-up together. At the time, with our limited knowledge and resources, we thought it was pretty good despite the video and audio quality not always being of the best quality.

(Watch or skip to the end, the blooper roll is pretty funny!)

Today, we still send out the YouTube link in most of our safari quotes. So the question is this. If you received a quote and clicked through to watch, into today's digital world of smartphones and editing programs that are so advanced. Is it helping the sale or not?

Please vote - Keep it or Can it...

If you are on the fence, comment and tell us why?

P.S. Be sure to put your hand up if you spot yourself in the vid, enjoy.
