Today, Saturday, 24 September, 2016, the United States formally acknowledges the tremendous contributions of Africans to the foundations and underpinning of the United States of America. The very architecture of the National African-American Museum of History was designed by David Adjaye, the Tanzanian-born architect. West African singer, Angelique Kidjo, sang Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" to an audience of the most powerful people in the world. Africa and Africans continue to rise. Don't let the negativism around you tell you otherwise. Africa's best days are still ahead. Go online and visit the museum at www.nmaahc.si.edu. I am sure that each of you will see a piece of yourself there ..because YOU ARE THERE!!!!
