MV IVS WINDSOR
We shipped 55,000t of natural gypsum, with our trading partners International Materials LLC, on board MV IVS Windsor to Durban in April of 2021. There were three different Receivers for the cargo on board, with three different grades of gypsum loaded into different vessel holds. Part of the cargo was delivered directly to some of our customers on a DDP basis while the other part was sold on a CIF basis.

1,100 TONS OF BAGGED BAUXITE
In April 2021 we received 1100 tons of Bauxite which we imported from Turkey. The product was packed in 1,5t bulk bags in 39 x 20ft shipping containers, which were off-loaded in Durban, and then delivered to our customer on a DDP basis, some 800km inland from the port.

MV MOONBEAM
Together with International Materials LLC, we shipped over 52,000 tons of natural gypsum on board the MV Moonbeam to Durban. Over 43,000 tons of this cargo was delivered directly to 4 customers on a DAP basis, sold in local ZAR currency. Deliveries were made to 7 different inland manufacturing plants, located as far as 850km from Durban. 1300 x 35t trucks moved the cargo over a combined delivery distance of nearly 5,000km. All deliveries were completed within 30 days of discharge of the cargo.

MV IVS CRIMSON CREEK

In January 2019 we imported a 54,000t shipment of natural gypsum and due to its large size, the vessel had to be brought in at high tide to Maydon Wharf’s deepest berth available. The discharge all went according to plan, and the cargo was all delivered to the final destination within the allotted time-frame. NEXUS Intertrade has once again proved its ability to provide a true end-to-end bulk materials solution.
