In the order they are leaving here.
1.Hunslet, a 2-6-0 saddle tank built in 1902 by Hunslet Engineering in Leeds, was bought by the VFP in 1912 to haul coal to Brakpan.
She later worked at Vereeniging power station(1922-1967) with periods on loan to Vaal(1953-54) and Grootvlei(1958)
After Vereeniging closed in 1969 she was transferred to Rosherville.
2.Avonside, built in 1927 for Union Steel Corporation was acquired by the VFP in 1932 for Witbank power station, where she worked until 1946. After several overhauls and transfers including Roshverville, Grootvlei(1980-82) and Camden(1983-84) she was retired in 1990 to the SA National Railway and steam Museum.
3.Henschel, built in 1950 by Henschel & Sohn in Germany first served at Vierfontein before moving to Komati in 1959. After overhauls at Dunn's she was sent to Hendrina in 1969 as a spare engine and overhauled again. In 1979 with welded frames that reduced maintenance, she worked at Hendrina until the early 1990's and joined the SA National Railway and Steam Museum in 1995.
4.Komati, a 0-8-0T built in 1926 by Hudswell Clarke for Witbank Power Station, served there until its closure in 1969. Overhauled during WW2 and again in 1946 at Rosherville, she later suffered a seized side rod, leading to her conversion in 1954 to a 0-6-2T with a pony truck for easier curve negotiation.
5.La Moye(Barclay) a 2-4-0T built in 1907 by Andrew Barclay & Co in Scotland for Jersey Island Railways as No.5 "La Moye" served there from 1922-1928. The VFP purchased her in 1928 for £550 and shipped her to South Africa after which she had numerous movements.
In 1993 La Moye retired to join her sisters at the South African National Rail and Steam Museum in Randfontein.
