🚛 VACANCY: Fleet Maintenance Manager
�Company: Ember Freight�Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal�Start Date: Immediate�Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)

About the Role�Ember Freight is looking for a mature, hands-on, and highly responsible Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our entire fleet.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, organized, and capable of managing a team while ensuring all fleet vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Oversee and supervise maintenance of the full company fleet
•⁠ ⁠Track and monitor all repairs, servicing, and vehicle breakdowns
•⁠ ⁠Manage workshop inventory, spare parts, and maintenance records
•⁠ ⁠Ensure fleet vehicles are roadworthy, compliant, and operational at all times
•⁠ ⁠Delegate tasks and provide clear instructions to service and workshop employees
•⁠ ⁠Monitor quality of work completed by maintenance staff and external service providers
•⁠ ⁠Identify maintenance issues early and implement preventative measures
•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate reports on vehicle maintenance schedules and costs
Requirements:
•⁠ ⁠Previous experience in fleet maintenance management, workshop supervision, or similar role
•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of truck/vehicle maintenance and repair processes
•⁠ ⁠Excellent leadership and staff supervision skills
•⁠ ⁠Good administrative and record-keeping abilities
•⁠ ⁠Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently
•⁠ ⁠Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
