With three decades of mast building experience, Sparcraft Masts is the sole mast manufacturer in South Africa. Design and manufacture of custom and production aluminium rig packages. This includes masts, spars, catamaran crossbeams and longerons.. Supply and fitting of Profurl and Facnor furling systems. Supply, fitting and splicing of wire rod and composite standing rigging, running rigging and wire swaging.

A few moments from recent sea trials aboard the Solitaire 1360.

Some of the Sparcraft Masts team, including Sean-Ray Johnson, pictured here, recently joined the team from Tree Tops Marine out on the water as the Solitaire 1360 underwent sea trials and commissioning.

Designed by Schionning Designs and built by Treetops Marine in Cape Town, the Solitaire 1360 is a capable bluewater cruising catamaran that combines impressive interior volume with lightweight, efficient performance.

Our rig package includes the mast, boom and standing rigging.

Always a pleasure working alongside the team at Tree Tops Marine and seeing another yacht take to the water.

Exciting times in the factory as the rig for HopYacht Hull 10 moves through its final stages of fit-out ahead of launch next week.

Designed by , built by and rigged by Sparcraft Masts, the HopYacht range continues to carve out a unique niche in the market as a compact, capable and innovative sailing catamaran platform.

Hull 10 marks another exciting milestone for the project, and we’re looking forward to seeing her launched and out on the water next week.

Our Rigging Manager Kevin Foreman overseeing the fitment of the crossbeam and compression post on Voyage 510 Hull 3 at the Voyage Yachts factory.

This stage also includes taking final measurements for the forestay position - one of many details that ensure everything aligns perfectly when the rig is stepped.

It is always a pleasure to work with the team from Phoenix Marine Manufacturing. Last Friday, our rigging team spent a few hours on board with their commissioning team tweaking the rig and fitting the headsail with North Sails Cape Town.

It was a pleasure, as always, to work alongside the team from this week at the launch of Xquisite X5E Plus Hull 33.

We joined the team for her launch and stepped her striking black Sparcraft Masts rig, paired beautifully with a carbon furling boom. Another exceptional example of South African boatbuilding, innovation and craftsmanship coming together on the water.

We greatly value our ongoing collaboration with Vision Yachts in the design and manufacture of their rigs and components.
