With Women’s Month having just passed, and after taking the time to honour the incredible women who make up the Citybug family, we saved the best for last — Citybug’s very own CEO, Mr Jacques Esterhuizen.

A true pioneer in the field, Mr Esterhuizen has spent years building Citybug from the ground up, leading with vision, determination and an unwavering belief in what was possible — even when the market wasn’t at its best.

Through the challenges, the uncertainty and the years of hard work, he kept pushing forward, turning an idea into a thriving business and a legacy that continues to grow.

Mr Esterhuizen, we are incredibly grateful to have you as our CEO and leader. Your dedication, resilience and passion have helped shape Citybug into the business and family it is today.

🌸 AUGUST, WHAT A MONTH! 🚌💙

August was an incredible month here at Citybug — full, busy, memorable and filled with so many beautiful moments. ✨

We celebrated the incredible women of Citybug 💐, welcomed two brand-new 53-seater Yutong buses to our growing fleet 🚌🚌, and celebrated one of our amazing drivers, Vusi! 👏

We celebrated birthdays, milestones and our wonderful people, braved some extreme weather conditions 🌧️💨, and had the privilege of meeting some of the beautiful faces behind our Bloemfontein team. 💙

From our team to our passengers, August reminded us once again that Citybug is about so much more than getting from A to B — it’s about the people and the journey along the way.

What a full, beautiful month it has been! 🥹💙

As we close the chapter on August and welcome September and the promise of spring, we’re incredibly grateful for every blessing, every journey and every person who forms part of the Citybug family.

Today we get to celebrate not one, but TWO of the AMAZING ladies who make Citybug what it is! ❤️

First up, our fabulous Ananjé is celebrating her 63rd birthday! 🎂🥳

Okay… okay… before she blocks us! 😂 She’s actually a lot younger than 63, but we simply couldn’t resist having a little giggle with her on her special day! 😉

And as part of our Celebrating the Women of Citybug campaign, today we also shine the spotlight on our fiercely funny Clarika — the heart and soul of Citybug. ❤️

Two incredible women. Two very different personalities. One thing they have in common? They bring so much heart, laughter, passion and magic to the Citybug family every single day.
