HOT OFF THE PRESS

With just 750 copies printed and 300 already presold, The Story of Kommetjie 2nd edition is now available at R500 per copy. A refreshing, quality coffee table book with magnificent images reflecting the life and times of the seaside village of Kommetjie - it’s an item to treasure.

As per the 2019 first edition, all profits from the sale of the books will go to local community projects. Amongst previous beneficiaries who received a share of R180,000 profit were NSRI, Komwatch, Kommetjie Residents and Ratepayers Association, Soetwater Environmental Education Centre,
Valley Development Projects (an NPO that runs many beneficial and uplifting social work projects in Ocean View and Masiphumelele). Funds were also allocated to a community-run street sports day in Ocean View.

The Kommetjie Book Project bank account is open for audit or scrutiny by any outside interest at any stage.
