Regional Wholesale Services (Pty) Ltd (RWS) has been in operation since May 2014. RWS IS A TOTALLY NEUTRAL REGIONAL COURIER WHO
LESALER. (as a company policy, we do not service any retail or commercial customers directly). Our raison d’etre is to partner with Courier & Logistics industry players to render a cost-effective, reliable and sustainable regional collection & delivery service. RWS owns the most extensive regional wholesale network in the country through our 23 inland branches. SERVICES
THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE OFFERED BY RWS TO OUR COURIER AND LOGISTICS CUSTOMERS. NDX Next Day Delivery (Delivery by close of business the day after lodge). ONX Overnight Express Delivery – (Delivery by 10h30 within city limits of any of our branch locations). LHL Daily road transport connecting our JHB main hub with our 22 branches for regional delivery
HFC PUDO (Pick-up and Drop-Off service). LHL service into or out of either of our branches from and to Johannesburg. SDX Sameday Express-Delivered same day as handed over. We deliver to plots/farms, power stations, mines (accredited by most) & townships. These services apply to both deliveries and collections. TRACK & TRACE
(REVOLUTIONARY IT FREIGHT SYSTEM)
Regional Wholesale Services has revolutionized the regional wholesale market through an advanced in-house designed and developed web-based freight management and tracking system which has been refined over the past 3 years. This system automates much of the operational process to ensure control and uniformity of operations nationally. Our Management Dashboard provides an overview of critical processes and allows rapid response should there be any areas of concern. The RWS freight system is able to integrate with all other major freight systems providing a closed-loop system from importing customer manifests to the seamless transfer of text POD’s and images back into our customer's systems. Our drivers’ smartphones are equipped with an app that allows them to report success or failure at Point of Contact, date/time stamped with Receiver Name or Failure Reason. This information is logged on the RWS system and immediately updated to the customers system. All our customers are able to access their own tailor-made RWS Freight Portal where all shipments will be visible via an overview screen with bore-down facilities showing the Waybill status, text and imaged POD’s

API integration with our customer's freight systems. RISK MANAGEMENT
RWS RISK DIVISION AND OPERATIONS CONTROL ROOM
Our Risk Division personnel have extensive SAPS experience and our working relationship with SAPS, the Hawks, asset protection task teams and all industry Risk platforms has given this division of ours an excellent reputation in the industry. RWS has a Control Room situated at Head Office in Johannesburg monitoring and communicating with and monitoring our fleet of LHL vehicles via live vehicle tracking and telephonic contact with each driver every 30 minutes. Asset tracking units are also placed randomly amongst our freight each night. Armed escorts also tail certain vehicles out of JHB and the higher risk vehicles are equipped with anti-jamming devices. Each of our 23 branches have CCTV cameras with 2 months of back-up recording capacity.
