All prospective public transport operators are reminded that, in terms of the National Land Transport Act (NLTA), an application for an Operating Licence must be submitted before acquiring a vehicle.
•⁠ ⁠No vehicle may be purchased for public transport purposes prior to approval of an Operating License application
•⁠ ⁠A vehicle may only be acquired once a formal grant letter has been issued by the GPRE.
