TAB Charters confirms that one of our aircraft, a King Air 200 (Registration ZS-TAE), was involved in an accident on June 18th during landing in Northern Zimbabwe. The accident occurred when the aircraft encountered a sand mound on the runway, resulting in the aircraft veering off the runway and sustaining significant damage.

We are relieved to report that there were no fatalities or injuries to the passengers or crew. The exceptional skills and professionalism of our pilots played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of everyone on board.

The accident is currently under investigation, and we are cooperating fully with the relevant authorities. Once the official investigation is complete, the final report will be made available through the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) website.

At TAB Charters, safety is our top priority. We take all incidents/accidents seriously and will conduct a thorough internal review to identify any areas for improvement.
