SOGEZA is rolling out across South Africa location by location and in phases.

Our approach is simple:

REGISTER → VERIFY → BUILD DRIVER CAPACITY → ACTIVATE THE LOCATION

A location is not ready simply because a few drivers have registered.

Before SOGEZA actively markets and launches a location, we must have enough verified, compliant and operationally ready drivers to serve customers reliably.

WHY A PHASED ROLLOUT?

Every market is different.

A smaller town may be able to start successfully with a relatively small but well-managed fleet.

A major metropolitan area requires a much larger driver pool because customer demand, travelling distances and service expectations are significantly higher.

For this reason, different towns and cities will activate at different times.

Some smaller locations may therefore launch before major cities where driver capacity is still being built.

MAJOR METRO READINESS TARGETS

For full city-wide activation, our current planning benchmarks are approximately:

Johannesburg — 1,000 verified drivers
Cape Town — 1,000 verified drivers
Tshwane / Pretoria — 850 verified drivers
Durban / eThekwini — 900 verified drivers

These are SOGEZA operational readiness targets, not legal quotas.

Individual zones, suburbs or corridors may be activated earlier where sufficient verified driver capacity exists.

OPPORTUNITY FOR SMALLER TOWNS

Smaller towns represent a major entrepreneurial opportunity.

A strong Fleet Owner who can recruit, organise and manage drivers may be able to develop a SOGEZA market with approximately 10–40 verified drivers, depending on the size and demand of that location.

SOGEZA GLOBAL OPERATIONS PARTNER - AFRICA OFFICE

Part-Time | Remote Opportunity | Performance-Based Equity Participation

Location: Applications welcomed internationally, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Commitment: Approximately two hours per weekday, including scheduled meetings.

Reporting to: Group Director.
Initial mandate: Six months, subject to a written agreement.

POSITION PURPOSE

Provide strategic and operational leadership across SOGEZA’s mobility and logistics services, including e-hailing, transfers, corporate transport accounts, courier, freight, removals, fleet operations and customer support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish operating procedures, controls and performance standards.
• Coordinate country coordinators and relevant operational teams.
• Monitor service quality, operational efficiency, commercial performance and compliance.
• Submit weekly KPI reports to the Group Director.
• Identify and develop an Operations Manager capable of assuming daily operational leadership within six months, subject to approved recruitment and resources.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated senior operations experience, commercial competence, remote-team leadership and a proven ability to implement systems and develop managers.

PROPOSED EQUITY AND REMUNERATION

During the first three months, the appointed candidate will have the opportunity to earn an initial portion of an agreed equity award upon achievement of documented milestones.

From month four, an agreed monthly stipend and reimbursement of pre-approved business expenses will apply. Further equity participation may be earned against agreed performance, succession and continued-service conditions.

The issuing legal entity, equity percentage, share rights, vesting conditions, remuneration, tax responsibilities and termination provisions must be recorded in definitive written agreements before commencement.

SIX-MONTH REVIEW

Following assessment of performance and succession readiness, the parties may agree to continued operational leadership or a transition into an oversight and mentorship role.

APPOINTMENT TERMS

The legal status of the engagement will reflect the actual working arrangement and applicable law. Authority, confidentiality, intellectual property, data protection, conflicts of interest and termination requirements will be governed by the written agreement.
