When hunting lion in the Niassa Special Reserve, we hunt not only on an aged base protocol but we also do not hunt lions that are part of a pride. This old lion we found early on, he seemed to be on his own but it is always good to keep him feeding for a couple of days to see who else might be attached to him. In this case the patience and responsibility paid off for the lions, he has a small pride and there are now cubs. We walk away and look for someone less sociable 🙏

Another safari completed, successfully and safely! Fantastic hunting in one of Africas last wilderness, Niassa, Mozambique.
These safaris are the life blood of this area, without them it will all cease to exist. We are grateful to all that come and hunt with us, thank you!

A wonderful safari completed in an exceptional manner, hard work, thick bush and wet ground played its part, we never stopped and on the last day were rewarded for our perseverance with a double on buff and an unexpected, unplanned feline.
Thanks to all of you for never giving up and staying the pace with me. What a memorable trip, see you next year !!!

After our lion and double leopard plus plus hunt in Niassa, then came the elephant hunt with Johan Calitz Safaris in Botswana followed by a rhino hunt with Wintershoek Safaris in RSA.
Scott took his big five on this safari and I would like to convey my absolute gratitude to Ronnie Craus for a super job in Botswana and to Strauss Jordaan for helping me with all arrangements for the rhino hunt and Roedolf Van der Linde for guiding Scott onto this fabulous bull.

There are days hunting and then there are days hunting! This was one of those. We swung a hyena bait yesterday and this guy pitched up. Absolutely incredible last day of a 10’day hunt in which up to yesterday we had not struck gold!

We finally did a double at 10h00 this am.

When your IPhone 16+ with a TB of memory, drops into the crocodile infested Lugenda River, Niassa Special Reserve, Mozambique, searched for 10 minutes, miraculously is found in the rocks, current etc and still works, you have had a great birthday !!!!
