📍 The role is fully remote in the UK, NYC, MA, or FL. East Coast US or UK time zones with twice-weekly evening calls to collaborate with the India team.

I am looking for someone who will sit at the intersection of platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, customer engineering, and AI.
We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working directly with enterprise customers to deploy AI infrastructure in real-world production environments.
Someone who has worked on regulated enterprise deployments (banks, healthcare, government) with a deep understanding of security, compliance, and approval workflows.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with Generative AI systems, LLM applications, AI infrastructure, or model deployment workflows
3-8 years post-undergrad in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing engineering (1+ year post-grad with a master's also acceptable)
Strong hands-on Kubernetes production experience plus at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Infra engineer or DevOps background at a startup, solutions company, or consulting firm. Traditional DevOps from banks or other "traditional sector" companies is a hard exclusion per the hiring manager.
Startup or consulting DevOps background (NOT bank DevOps)
Customer-facing deployment experience
Helm, Terraform, ArgoCD, or comparable
Not looking for:
Pure backend engineer without customer-facing exposure. The role is 50%+ customer-facing.
Wants 9-to-5 or low-commitment culture.
Cannot work in the East Coast US or UK time zones, or unavailable for twice-weekly evening calls with India
Traditional DevOps background at banks or other traditional-sector enterprises. Hiring manager directly excluded.
