💕 Celebrate the Valentines weekend with us at our Open Day to raise funds towards the repairs of our railway line.

🚂 Train departs from Inchanga Railway Station on the 16th of February 2025 for a short trip up the line.

🎟 Ticket Prices - R80pp per trip

🎫 Trains depart on the hour every hour from 9am - 3pm - no bookings required

👉 At Inchanga you may find:
• A Craft Market waiting to be explored 👣
• Refreshments & Coffee on sale ☕️
• Various food stalls to suite most tastes 🍴
• The Inchanga Railway Museum will be open for tours 🏛
• Look for Thomas & Friends in the Modeller's shed 🚃
• Pony Rides 🐴

Umgeni Steam Railway. We are the home of steam locomotive preservation in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. We run steam train rides for tourists and visitors on the last Sunday of each month. The money raised allows us to restore and preserve our steam heritage.

𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐀𝐘

Join us as we are operating trips to Botha's Hill to continue raising funds to fix our Railway line after the devastating floods in KZN.

This roughly 1 hour & 15 minutes trip departs from Inchanga Railway Station, meandering along the rolling hills of Natal, through one of the oldest operating tunnels in South Africa, with the sights of the Valley of 1000 Hills in the distance, before turning around at Botha's Hill for the return to Inchanga.

Before or after your trip, you can browse through the Inchanga Station Craft Market where there are various treasures on sale, food to suite most tastes & activities for the whole family.

Visit the Inchanga Railway Museum situated in the Old Station Master's House or find Thomas & Friends in the Modeller's Shed on the platform.

Trains depart on the 29th of October 2022 at 08:30, 11:00, 13:30 &15:30.

Ticket Prices:
Adults: R150
Pensioners (+60) & Children (2-12): R100
