Sunday’s Rand Airshow was a fantastic celebration of aviation, showcasing the capability, diversity and excitement of helicopter operations.

A highlight of the day was Group Executive Chairman André Coetzee’s participation in the Checkers Sixty60 helicopter demonstration flight, while Henley Air pilots Bruce Daniels and Jaco Botha supported the ROCKET Air Rescue demonstration alongside the ROCKET Air Rescue team — giving visitors an up-close look at the capabilities of operational and emergency helicopter services.

Visitors had the opportunity to get up close with our helicopters, with helicopter flips offered in both the Bell 222 and Bell 230, as well as the popular Bell 222 photo booth. The Henley Air hangar exhibition provided aviation enthusiasts with a unique opportunity to step inside, experience and engage with these iconic aircraft.

It was a great opportunity to showcase the people, aircraft and capabilities behind Henley Air, while sharing our passion for aviation with the public.

A huge thank you to Rand Airport for hosting an outstanding event and to everyone who came through to support and celebrate aviation with us.
