Duties & Responsibilities:
The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe, compliant, and productive workplace. This role aims to protect the well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors, uphold regulatory standards, and promote a culture of safety across all organizational levels.
The Health and Safety Manager will work closely with operations, logistics, and engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks, reduce incidents, and ensure continuous improvement in health and safety performance.
Minimum Job Requirements:
* 5 - 10 Years Experience in a Health & Safety Managerial Role
* Occupational Health & Safety Diploma or Equivalent
* Knowledge in Civils & Constructions Health & Safety
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Regular Risk Assessments and lead incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
* Plan and conduct internal health & safety audits, ensuring compliance with the ISO 45001 and other relevant standards
* Develop emergency response systems, including fire safety, medical emergencies, and disaster recovery plans
* Establish and maintain legal health and safety appointments
* Align health and safety goals with overall business objectives and track performance metrics
