🏛️ A Century-Old Memorial Returns Home

After a journey of more than 1,000 km, the Marist Uitenhage memorial has officially returned to its home in Port Elizabeth. 🚚

For our Pickfords team, this was far more than simply transporting a 200kg+ marble memorial. It required careful planning, specialist handling and bespoke protection to ensure this historic piece arrived safely and securely.

We’re proud to have played our part in Project Lest We Forget, working alongside the St Dominic’s Marist community and alumni to help bring this important piece of their history home. 🤝

A special thank you to everyone involved in making this journey possible -from the careful collection and custom crating to the long road home.
