Our business has been part of the Southern African commercial-vehicle industry for more than three decades. Since our beginnings in 1994, we have built our reputation through experience, technical knowledge, quality products and, most importantly, the relationships we have developed with our customers and partners.
In 2023, we entered an exciting new chapter as RIVS Air Brake became Vaden Original Southern Africa.
This transition represented more than a change of name. It reflected our ambition to grow, to broaden our product offering and to strengthen our position as a trusted partner to the heavy-duty vehicle aftermarket throughout Southern Africa.
While our identity has evolved, our values remain firmly rooted in the experience we have gained over the years.
Our customers operate in a demanding industry where reliability is not optional. A truck that is off the road affects a business, a fleet and the supply chains that connect our region. We understand that behind every part we supply is a customer who depends on us to deliver the right product, at the right time and to the right standard.
That is why we remain committed to quality, reliability, technical expertise and service.
Today, Vaden Original Southern Africa offers a growing portfolio of commercial-vehicle components covering braking and air systems, engine and auxiliary components, transmissions, cooling, electrical, fuel, exhaust, steering and suspension applications.
But products are only part of our story - Our greatest strength is our people.
Our team brings together industry experience, technical knowledge and a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by workshops, fleet operators, distributors and transport professionals. Together, we work to provide practical solutions that help our customers keep their vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
As we look to the future, our ambition is clear: to continue growing with the Southern African trucking industry while maintaining the trust that has been built over more than 30 years.
We will continue investing in our people, our products, our relationships and our capabilities. We will embrace new technologies and opportunities while remaining grounded in the principles that have guided us from the beginning.
