When I was looking around for a car a few months ago the 2lt sportage seemed the best value for money retailing at about R406000 (I think) a new version would be awesome

i dont have time to read the whole thing but of course this will happen its new technology - tesla is a wealthy co but lets get real is the electric car their main money maker NO its solar panels - i dont think we will ever see an overhaul of petrol engines (the world runs economically off oil) and these cars would be so expensive to the normal south african - also are we going to have an electric pump next to each parking space (like in the airport for that 1 jaguar that pitches up) also i understand the batteries pose a bit of problem to dispose of) so maybe its a bit of a "game" to let us believe they eco friendly as they run on power - power is produced in SA by coal (polluting the air) - no my opinion is the electric car is for that one or two who want to show off how much money they got - but i dont think i will see the end of the petrol car in my life
