Happy Friday!

In case you need to contact us here is our NEW 📞 number : +27 60 854 2016, give us a call for any holiday lifts you may require or for enquiries for next year.

We just wanted to mention that our vehicles are still based in Craighall Park so you need not worry about a spike in transport rates as vehicles will not be travelling longer distances for their respective pick up and drop offs. 🚗

We will also try by all means to absorb the increase in fuel prices in the first quarter of the year in hope that the petrol prices come back down.

We wanted to introduce ourselves to all current & future clients!

Final & Tafadzwa Tauro, the new owners of KIM CABS! We've been married for 10 years and are parents to two amazing boys who are at Rivonia Primary. We've been working closely with the lovely Kim and we wanted to assure you that we will continue to do so to make sure the transition is smooth as silk when she heads off to the UK!

Rest assured that we will be retaining the existing staff as they have built a trust relationship with both the children and parents and values such as trust, integrity, honesty as well as transparency are at the core of our operation.

We are so looking forward to continuing the good work she has started in taking care of your precious children's transports needs!

Dear K.I.M Cabs parents

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Final & Tafadzwa Tauro who have come on board and who will ultimately be taking over the running of K.I.M Cabs.

Some of you may know that I am headed to the UK and anticipate this happening sometime in January 2022 but the waiting period for the visa is very indeterminate and I wanted to make 100% certain that a) the right people took over the business and the team and that b) you as a family experience seamless transition in terms of service and that I didn’t leave matters to the last minute. I did not want to leave my drivers in the lurch without employment and with many of the scholar companies closing down, the same applied to our families.

I am still going to be part of the team, although in a handover and training role for Final and Tafadzwa as well as comms with families. As such I will be creating WhatsApp groups with the three of us and yourself as family liaison so that they can see how information is sent to you regarding drivers, vehicles, scheduling of weekly times and any issues that may cause delays to collection times. Once my handover is complete, I will exit these groups and leave you in their very capable hands.

Tafadzwa & Final have two young boys in primary school at Rivonia Primary. Final has extensive operations / logistics experience and Tafadzwa is an architect by profession. They truly are a lovely young couple who I think will take K.I.M Cabs to the next level and who will continue to provide you with great service together with our drivers Thembi, Siboneni, Yvonne, Linda and Percy.

I’d like to thank each and every one of you for believing in us as a team and helping take this “let’s see what happens” start-up business in the middle of the Covid pandemic to where it is today, one and half years down the line. We have grown to over 25 families and nearly 40 children! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The team is looking forward to continuing to work with “their kids” as they call them together with the Tauro’s.

So it turns out the the unique earthy smell of rain actually comes from plant oils, bacteria, and ozone and it's known as PETRICHOR 🌧️🌧️🌧️

So for those of you who are in "The Parks" and surrounding areas - I am certain you have had a whiff of PETRICHOR today - one of the best smells on earth to me! ☔☔☔🌂
