TOUR GUIDE DONATES BOOKS TO DELIGHTED KIDS
Tour guide and entrepreneur Mzukisi Lembeni opened his heart to Nomsa Maphongwana Primary and donated books to learners at the school. Lembeni who runs a tour service for township schools said this was a way of ploughing back to the community. "I brought them exercise books, coloring books, coloring pencils, retractable bright color and soccer balls and I hope they will make better use of those in enriching their education," said Lembeni. Principal Mr Vuyani Somaxhaka thanked Lembeni for his generosity and urged others to follow suit in supporting black children's education.
"We need more people who take care of our schools in the townships" said Somaxhaka. Meanwhile Lembeni has urged principals and governing bodies to grab the opportunity that his company, Imzu Tours, is offering to learners. "We have tours designed to entertain and educate school learners. Our tours cover the best of Cape Town tourists attractions, sleep over, farewells, staff functions and sports events." he said. Attractions that are covered include the Two Oceans Aquarium, V&A waterfront, and boat Trip in Waterfront Harbor, Signal Hill Mountain, Table mountain and Robben Island Tours.
LEARNERS ARE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES ON THOSE TOURS.
"We also provide a township tour for white schools, by visiting township schools and provide them sport for both school, for example a soccer match. Our aims is to to create friendship, share the knowledge and build our country together,"he added. For more info call 021 824 8976, 073 507 3622 or email [email protected]
