There she goes. ⚓️
The old 22.6 Justine came in for a full rebuild.
We have cut all the old laaitjies, boxes and wheelhouse out, we broke out the deck & frames, took out the bottles and gave her a good grind to her bare hull, we have cut the transom off and bonded a new 4ft extension piece on her to make her 27ft. We then bonded in a new transom with a new engine well, we have put in new composite frames and stringers for strength over the extension joint.
We also built in a new fiberglass fuel tank underneath deck.
Fitted with bottles for buoyancy, and bonded closed with a new composite deck.
She has been fitted with new laaitjies and new bait boxes and we added a sonar pipe through the splash well to the hull.
Justin decided to add a new wheelhouse halfway through the build which ended up looking beautiful on the boat!
She has been resprayed with gelcoat to look as good as new.
We refitted the Suzuki 200hp motors, steering, controls & guages!
Justine has now gone home to be fitted with her last few goods before she goes to sea! ⚓️
