New bus traffic signals are being introduced at four new intersections along Blaauwberg Road in Table View.

This follows successful testing of a new bus signal system, which aims to help to reduce confusion at intersections and is aligned with international best practice.

The new signals are for MyCiTi bus drivers only. Other road users are advised to continue to follow the general traffic signals that apply to them.

Visit the MyCiTi website or click on the link in our app to top up securely – all you need is your myconnect card and a debit card.

🕐 Your online top up automatically activates when you tap your card on a validator or station info terminal

⏳Your top-up is ready within minutes at a station but can take up to 24 hours if you need to activate it on the bus

💡Tip: Top up at least a day in advance to ensure uninterrupted travel
