🎨 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀!

The City of Cape Town is inviting design proposals for public artworks at the planned new MyCiTi bus stations in Hanover Park and Lentegeur, Mitchells Plain.

These stations form part of the next phase of the City’s MyCiTi bus service, Phase 2A, which will connect Khayelitsha, Mitchells Plain, Hanover Park, Wynberg, Claremont and surrounding areas.

MyCiTi has advanced the integration of local public art into Cape Town’s urban environment. Throughout the city, our bus stations display original works by local artists to help create welcoming, vibrant, and distinctive public spaces that celebrate local identity, culture and community, while enhancing the passenger experience.

We're proposing new stops and route extensions in response to passenger requests.

The proposed changes aim to improve access to services and make journeys safer by reducing walking distances for passengers on routes 214b, 214c, 233, 236, 241, 244 and 245.
