Day 1 & 2 Recap | Mitchell’s Plain Region

Keeping our industry moving starts with keeping our people healthy.

Last week, SANTACO Western Cape, in partnership with the Western Cape Department of Health & Wellness and the Western Cape Mobility Department, hosted a Health and Wellness Activation at Wynberg Taxi Rank.

Taxi operators, drivers and other industry stakeholders accessed free health screenings, wellness support and health education, while the Mobility Department assisted with driver registration services.

As a successful pilot initiative, SANTACO Western Cape looks forward to seeing this programme rolled out across the province, bringing essential health and wellness services to even more members of the public transport industry.

Together, we’re building a healthier, safer and more resilient public transport industry.
