There are people in every workplace who keep things running without much fanfare or acknowledgement. Workers' Day feels like the right time to change that.

Today, we want to honour Rudzani Makoro, known to many of us as Mavis. Since joining our Johannesburg office in November 2019, she has consistently demonstrated warmth and commitment. Her day starts at 3 am to make sure the office is clean, the coffee is ready, and the environment feels inviting for all. She also volunteers on Sundays, helping her colleagues start the week in a tidy, welcoming space.

Such dedication does not go unnoticed, even when the work takes place before most of us wake up.

Happy Workers' Day, Rudzani. And thank you!
