What can you expect when the Premier already has a corruption cloud hanging over her head😏

The sooner Free state residents realize there is no future in the current government, the better this province will be.

Look at Bloemfontein, as a capital city and Mangaung as Metropolitan Municipality, but look how filthy and delapilated it has been. It's no longer the city of roses but garbages.

We are indeed the worst performing province nationally. Especially 7 is the prove to the findings. We are still using pits toilet, residing in shacks, no clean water, we are isolated from services - your police station, schools, shopping complex ect.

The Free State has been identified as one of the worst-performing province in South Africa, with 16 municipalities having unfunded budgets, over R4.2 billion in unauthorised expenditure, repeated disclaimer audit opinions, and widespread failure to submit financial statements on time.

Poor consequence management, ineffective oversight structures, uninvestigated irregular expenditure, and a decline in the quality of basic services and infrastructure are other critical concerns that were found.

The Auditor-General's findings from the 2023/24 municipal audit outcomes have triggered an intervention by the Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA).

The committee, led by Chairperson Dr Zweli Mkhize, is set to embark on a two-day oversight visit to the Free State on 24-25 July 2025, in collaboration with the Free State Legislature, the Office of the Premier, and the Office of the MEC for COGTA.

The visit aims to ensure accountability, track progress on financial recovery and enforce consequences for ongoing non-compliance.

Honestly the blame point straight to the government only for allowing people to stay in Shacks. Condolences to the related and families of the deceased. It's not easy to handle 3 coffins at the same time. Why did South Africa government allowed people to stay in Shacks the same people who vote for them. Rain comes and it washes away people but politicians are sitting comfortably in their spaces without caring for the poor.😪😪

A mother and her two children lost their lives in a fire at Phase 7 in Bloemfontein, believed to have been caused by a candle used during load shedding.

It is sad to think that we have been out of water for months, and this is something we experience every year without fail. Even worse, our kids abscond from attending school due to reasons of fetching water far in the neighboring communities, sometimes in the very early hours, even at night, while others use this opportunity to excuse themselves for not attending school.

Water scarcity takes a greater toll on women and children because they are often the ones responsible for collecting it.

We hope this can be fixed ASAP because lives have been disrupted enormously.

The 16th of June 2024 - YOUTH DAY

It was an exhilarating two days of jubilation, especially for the young people in our community. And the reality is, it's always a good feeling to see young people in our community and the neighbouring communities playing together, and making long lasting relationship. We salute the organizers for making all of this possible, the teams for participating, the members of the communities and the neighbouring communities for showing love and the support. Thank you

About the tournament:
We saw FC - the host showing resilience by beating the in the finals on penalty shootouts and securing the 1 number spot, Chilli boys settling for position 2.

This to us was a significant moment especially for the young people of our community. It shows to us that young people need support and patience for them to proper and become better people.

All soccer teams and netball in ward 51 and ward 12 gonna come together to celebrate. It’s youth month and we gonna celebrate in style. We gonna have dope performance with our stars. come and celebrate with us.

Water crisis continues.....💦

A serious intervention is essential and urgent. We have been out of water for months now, people risks their lives everyday merely for they wake up in the early hours of the day and some roam around at night in the dark to fetch water far from their neighborhood.

We kindly request a tank truck Water For People Hippo Roller to rescue us from this misery
