The Big Trip To The Kruger National Park
Day 2 of traveling, Waking up to overcast weather in Beaufort West with a cup of coffee before heading out on our journey. Keeping in mind we are ahead of schedule as excitement got the best of us.
While making our way to Colesberg, Spotting a few Springboks, BlueCranes, Cows, Sheep, We had a good few laughs when Mel saw Monkeys on the side of the road. The reactions were priceless.
We then stopped in Colesberg for a lite lunch, toilet stop and to check airbags, tyre's and fill up diesel for the rest of our trip as we make our way to Bloemfontein.
The road to Bloemfontein was peaceful with minimal cars, however oncoming traffic kept us alert with so many people overtaking making it almost impossible to see the Eland, Sable and Tesabe.
However seeing those animals this made our trip so much more exciting and got our eyes tuned in as we head to the Kruger National Park.
We eventually pulled out some snacks, Biltong, droewors, peanut bars, chocolate, chips, redbull and water to keep us pumped for the drive.
Distance to Bloemfontein is about 150kms from where we currently situated and The Girl and Her Cruiser is doing a phenomenal job with all the driving while Mel sits and plays all the old school tunes to keep the drive lively with singing and laughing.
Jokes are rolling with a bit of eyeballing to see who spots the next animal first.
Stay Tuned as we set off tomorrow again
