What does Socotra Dream Tour aim to?

We have also been working closely with the Socotra Eco-tourism Society . Our aim is to run a purely Socotrai operation (currently putting this number up to two in the island). There are many tour operators, based on the mainland, who service the island, but these do not take nearly as much care of the local environment, economy and people as we do, Socotra is our home and we are doing our utmost to develop sustainable tourism that benefits the wider spectrum of this beautiful and unique island. Unlike the mainland operators, our overhead costs are minimal, and we guarantee that all our fees come to the benefit of the local population. Socotra Dream tours

Unique. Surely that is the word that best suits Socotra. The island lies between the horn of Africa and the Arabian peninsula. Officially it belongs to Yemen, but you won’t notice any of the unrest that dominates the mainland. Socotra is also known as an ecological wonder of nature. .

ragon's blood tree is a dragon tree native to the Socotra archipelago.
It can be harvested for its crimson red resin, called dragon's blood, which was highly prized in the ancient world and is still used today. It can be used as a dye and as a medicine, Socotrans use it ornamentally as well as dying wool, gluing pottery, a breath freshener, new tour adventure tour running to Socotra.
