So excited to be back on two wheels that we completely forgot to take photos! 😂🙈

After saying our goodbyes to Tom, Marlys and Walker, we headed south towards Williams Lake.

We even spotted our black bear again 🐻 before the rain arrived… but thankfully, so did a beautiful rainbow! 🌈

Tonight’s highlight? Discovering poutine! 🍟🤤

Back on the road and loving every minute!

BROKEN DOWN. STRANDED. AND RUNNING OUT OF OPTIONS. 😳

With Steve's chain now joining the tale of woe, we'd limped into town the evening before

Two bikes. Two broken chains. And we're stuck in Dease Lake with no replacement chains anywhere in sight.

Troy, a local mechanic, tried to help with a master-link bodge that might get us to Smithers...

Wrong links. 🤦‍♂️

Then we started looking at recovery.

The local tow company can get us AND both bikes to Smithers.

The price?

$2,750 CAD — around £1,500! 😳

And just to make things more interesting...

Our lodge is fully booked tomorrow.

The only other motel? Also full.

It's hunting season, so apparently everyone else had the same idea. 😂

So tomorrow we could be camping in Dease Lake with two bikes that don't run.

This adventure just got VERY interesting. 😬
