From Birth to Booster and Beyond! I am passionate about keeping children as safe as possible in and around vehicles.

I am a nationally-certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) with additional training in the transportation of children with special needs, and additional training in safe transportation for all passengers on school buses. I became certified in 2011, but my passion for child passenger safety began several years prior. Car crashes are the leading cause of death for children under the age of

12 in the U.S., and well over 80% of children are improperly restrained in the car. My goal is to educate parents and caregivers about proper child safety seat selection, installation and use to improve their child's chances of survival in the event of a crash.
