In May 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Normandy and the American Cemetery with Adventures by Disney. It’s hard to fully put into words the gravity of the experience — how humbling it was to walk along those beaches, stand at Pointe du Hoc, and gaze across the thousands of markers at the American Cemetery.

The ground there feels truly hallowed. You can’t help but reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and lives forever changed on those shores. It is a powerful reminder that the freedoms we enjoy today came at an unimaginable cost.

May we always remember: Freedom isn’t free. 🇺🇸
