So I have 24v solar batteries system that run my diesel heater, tv and 120v stuff, like my fridge. Then I have a main starter battery where my interior ceiling lights, swinging front doors, security cameras etc. I'm sure everything was once on solar but when I bought the bus the guy took the components need for that with him. Until I buy a converter to connect the two systems both to solar, I have to be careful when running the things connected to my starter battery or it'll kill it. I left my interior lights on too long last nite and this was the result.🥴🙃

As usual, I'm doing something for the first time ever. And as usual, it's not as easy as I expected it to be🥴🙄🤷🏽 But I don't give up. Should be done tomorrow sometime. Should get my very first expedited load by the end of the week💯👍🏽🫶🏽

When you go OTR, in any truck, you never know where a load may take you. Living in a bus the past 4 years has taught me to prepare for anything! The last thing we want to be is cold/hot and miserable. Hotel rooms eat up profit. We don't want that now do we??

Prepping our secondary vehicle, soon to be second home. Although we will be delivering OTR, we will spend just as much, if not more time in this van. It's crucial to add some insulation, heat and a decent bed so we can rest on the road...

If you've spent an ample amount of time living in your bus, you've gotten at least one bang on your door. I won't call it a knock because it's never just a knock. It's always meant to be a authoritative and jarring. Anxiety filled usually. This particular day I had just completed a 12 hour drive, with my son, from Florida to his apartment in Kentucky. I decided to sleep in the bus because I prefer my bed. The apartment manager decided it would be a great idea to give me shid. The first thing I explained to him was why I was parked there. What apartment my son lives in, his name and that he has lived there for two years. This guy didn't believe nor care. People are so awesome aren't they?🙄 Lucky me.
