r satisfaction while using our services on arrival and departure to/ from Prishtina International Airport. Besides the work at PIA “Adem Jashari”, this consortium has invested on the project for new infrastructure on the Agency for Air Navigation Services-ANSP. We are at the stage towards completion of the New Tower, new building for ANSP administration, and the supporting infrastructure for the agency. Construction of the New Terminal has been designed and made entirely by newest developments in air transport industry and in full compliance with the standards and aviation recommended practices for passenger and luggage processing. Commercial spaces consisting of Duty Free and F&B areas are designed to place greater emphasis on store design and product offer, which typifies today’s sophisticated approach to customer focus in airport comfort and retailing. With the Duty Free Spaces, we aim to make the airport shopping experience both exciting and enticing for our customers by offering a great range of products among other to***co and alcohol, cosmetics, fragrances and luxury goods, chocolates and sweets. The atmosphere, the customer service, and the offer itself have been designed to meet customer expectations and upgrade the purchasing experience. Considering that nowadays airports are melting pots of diverse cultures and identities where people from varied walks of life congregate, and that airports are a second home for frequent travelers, our Food and Beverage spaces are planned and designed to offer comfort and convenience to the modern travelers. We bring together the international as well as distinct traditional culinary experiences by providing both variety and value. The New Terminal has a parking lot which can accommodate around 1750 vehicles. Also a completely new apron for the parking of aircraft and the positions has been dedicated exclusively for winter operations when the aircraft should be treated with the substances against frost and cold. The ground services for aircraft are performed with the newest equipment, including the equipment to tow the aircraft, either arriving or departing to/from the apron. Aiming to increase the level of services and to achieve the desired quality on processing passengers from terminal to aircraft and vice-verse, the New Terminal building is equipped with 4 passengers boarding bridges. All Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) can be used on the ICAO cat C, D, and E type of aircraft. In accordance with the investments in airport infrastructure and service equipment, also the permanent increase of the flight traffic flow, passenger number, and cargo, Prishtina International Airport “Adem Jashari” safely and quickly in time will be the leading airport in the Balkans part of Europe.
