Moving On: Keep Vietnam Clean & Green
Phan Trung Minh Tue, Program Coordinator - local move

Phan Trung Minh Tue, Program Coordinator for Keep Vietnam Clean & Green (Việt Nam Sạch & Xanh), was drawn to Saigon eight years ago thanks to it being a dynamic hub for learning and business opportunities along with the overall warmth and openness of the people. Even as a young student in university, he felt a sense of comfort in the rapidly growing country and knew that he wanted to be a part of Vietnam's narrative.

Mr. Tue began working for Keep Vietnam Clean & Green, a non-profit organization that he explains raises "awareness against the littering behavior and trash issue in Vietnam." When the organization facilitated a nationwide cleanup movement for Earth Day this year, they needed to provide equipment to provinces around Vietnam and different cleanup locations in Saigon. They wanted to ensure the company they used to facilitate the move shared similar beliefs to them. They wanted a company that wouldn't contribute to the current environmental problems, a forward-impact company much like themselves. They found just that with Evolve Mobility.

"In past moves, we saw a lot of plastic bags used to carry our stuff to different locations and cities. It was very sad to us because we know how bad that is for the environment but also had no solution. With Evolve Mobility, we recognize the chance to better from the inside, which means we can be the role model in reducing plastic in our daily work," Mr. Tue explains.

Working to maintain Vietnam's natural beauty takes a collective mindset with a clearly defined goal. Vietnam is one of five countries responsible for more than 60% of the world's plastic pollution. This unfortunate figure can't change overnight; however, when like-minded companies work together to do their part, create awareness and effect change, good things start to happen. For Keep Vietnam Clean & Green, that meant finding a solution to previous moving companies who contributed to the environmental woes rather than working to fixing them.
